”The 1994 yellow Porsche 964 Carrera RS 3.8L is a beast, and she’s not subtle about it!”

”Because it’s so close to the car I cut my teeth on as a “little” – this 1967 blue Porsche 911s might be the one I look forward to seeing in person the most. I can hear the motor as it crests the road, smell the familiar scent of leather wrapped seats and distinct oil and gas. Moving this machine from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, the rev of the engine brings a smile to my face, even if I’m not seating behind the wheel at the moment.”
Abstracted Air #4
36” x 48” acrylic and silver leaf on canvas
“The 1957 Carrera GT Speedster, sporting her stunning cool blue coat, and staring at you with those big crystal eyes is a vision to behold!”
Abstracted Air #5
36” x 48” acrylic and 23k, 18k, 12k gold and silver leaf on canvas
”Details. I love the details of these exquisite machines. Take the steering wheel of this 1960 356B. Oh my word! The light playing off the reflective surfaces, the red, black and gold smiling back at your while you drive…I mean seriously, what’s not to love??”

About the artist:
Lyn Hiner is an internationally recognized palette knife painter based in Southern California. Known for her bold color selection and abstract expressionist style, her works often create a sense of conflict on the canvas by portraying expectedly detailed elements through an emotionally expressive application.
Having grown up around Porsches and learning to drive her dads 1964 911 Euro at an early age, Lyn has always considered herself a Porsche girl at heart. Lyn’s latest "Abstracted Air" collection for the Saratoga Rare Air exhibition was an exciting project for her as it allowed her to further explore her ongoing fascination with capturing the essence and movement of fine cars on canvas while also indulging her lifelong love of the Porsche automobile.
Featured at juried fine art shows and exhibitions internationally, Lyn’s paintings can be found in private collections
throughout the US and around the world.
