Spring Auto Show Celebrates Automotive Excellence

Saratoga Springs, NY – May 16, 2024 The Saratoga Automobile Museum hosted its highly anticipated Spring Auto Show, showcasing an impressive array of classic and contemporary vehicles. Enthusiasts from far and wide gathered to admire the remarkable craftsmanship and engineering feats on display.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the winners, recognizing outstanding contributions to our automotive culture. Among the distinguished winners, Ken Stefanik's pristine 1955 Chevrolet Nomad, that he just took ownership of, captured the coveted title of Best of Show, captivating spectators with its impeccable customization and Southern California flair.

Scott Hartmann's 1999 Land Rover Discovery II emerged triumphant as the recipient of the People's Choice award, a testament to its enduring appeal and popularity among attendees.

The Best in Class awards celebrated excellence across different automotive genres, with Steven Lofgren's 2022 Ferrari F8 earning accolades for its embodiment of the Museum's Current Theme “Ferrari”. Tom Daley Sr.'s 1976 BMW 2002 was hailed as the quintessential barn find, while KMarie King's cutting-edge 2024 Porsche Taycan showcased the future of electric vehicles. Louis Dahoda's sleek 2006 Ford GT and Patrick Bright's dynamic 2018 Subaru WRX rounded out the winners in the supercar and junior judge categories, respectively.

The Judges' Choice awards recognized vehicles that captivated the discerning eyes of the panel, with Scott Prowell's rugged 1970 K5 Blazer, Linda Haight's elegant 1970 Mercedes Benz 280SL Convertible, Walter Swenton Sr.'s timeless 1993 Porsche 968, David Fox's iconic 1988 BMW M6, and Michael Maresca's pristine 1963 Chevrolet Corvette earning well-deserved accolades.

Additionally, the Cadillac LaSalle Club's enthusiastic participation added to the vibrant atmosphere of the event, showcasing a rich heritage of automotive excellence.
