Saratoga Automobile Museum Celebrates Success of the 8th Annual Saratoga Motor Car Auction

"The Saratoga Automobile Museum is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the 8th Annual Saratoga Motor Car Auction, held on September 20 and 21, 2024, at the Saratoga Casino Hotel. This year’s auction set multiple sales and attendance records, marking a resounding success for the Museum and the Saratoga Springs community, we are so excited for 2025.” Megan Hennessey, Executive Director.

With an impressive sell-through rate of 73%, the auction generated a gross sales of $7,223,586. The 2024 event achieved remarkable milestones, including the highest number of cars sold over $100K, the highest price car sold at $647,350, and the highest average sale price per lot. Additionally, it attracted the largest number of bidders and prebids to date. Highlighted sales included a pristine 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition that sold for $647,350, a beautifully restored 1970 Plymouth Cuda 426 that went for an astounding $253,000, and the 2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT Black Series, hammered at 308,000.

This year’s auction was not just a sale; it was a celebration of automotive culture and community.
