<p>&nbsp;SAM&rsquo;s Garage will be offering a Pinewood Tune up program where children and scouts can bring in their pre-made pinewood derby car for a pre-tournament tune up!&nbsp; This program is designed for racers to learn and test the physics of pinewood racing!&nbsp; A full track will be on hand to research and test your car.&nbsp; <em>*Children are free with standard adult admission.</em></p>

<p><span style="color: black;">This S.A.M.'s Garage program is designed to give High school students' perspective and direction as they take the next educational step in their automotive careers. Current RPI Formula SAE students will share their stories and interactions in the automotive industry along with those who have moved onto a career in the Automotive Industry. (Junior/Senior High Program) The RPI Formula car will be onsite and a brief demonstration will be held following the presentation.</span></p>

A step by step procedure will be reviewed along with video footage of the team constructing their race car. The Formula Car will be onsite for a "hands and minds on" experience. This is a brand new team for RPI and we are excited to for them to introduce their team and demonstrate how a Hybrid Formula car works. They will compare and contrast the hybrid racecar vs. the conventional combustion engine racecar. <p>&nbsp;SAM&rsquo;s Garage will be offering a very special art/design workshop where children get the opportunity to design their own car using different artistic mediums.&nbsp; By utilizing the &ldquo;Scholastic; Design My Ride&rdquo; kit, Museum Art Director Brandon Salls and in house artist Francine Stuart will guide students through their very own design process!&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>&nbsp;Cameras and cars go together hand in hand.&nbsp; If it&rsquo;s aiding a sale, documenting restoration, or simply capturing the beautiful design of a vehicle; photography plays an important role to the automotive hobby. In this workshop<strong><em> </em></strong>you will learn tips and techniques for enhancing your automotive photographs.&nbsp; This class is oriented toward digital photography through the use of Adobe Photoshop Elements.&nbsp; Please note that this course assumes that all who attend have an intermediate knowledge of photography and can bring their own camera equipment including tripods.</p>
