On April 13, 2013 the Saratoga Automobile Museum will host a 6 Hour Defensive Driving course for its members and the general public.
The class will run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a ½ hour lunch break and will be taught by Sharon Simonek. The cost will be $35. for the general public and $28. for current Museum members. Reservations are required and may be made by phone or thru the website at saratogaautomuseum.org using the store section. Members will need to call the Museum to sign up at their reduced rate.
The course will help refresh your driving knowledge with a review of time-tested safe driving tips and an overview of today's vehicle and traffic laws. In addition, you may be eligible to reduce as many as four (4) points on your driving record. The DMV computer will automatically note your eligibility to receive the reduction upon submission of course completion documentation. If you are the principal operator of a motor vehicle, you will receive a minimum 10% reduction in the base rate of your automobile and motorcycle liability and collision insurance premiums each year for three years.
Presentation of the Defensive Driving Course is sponsored by Liberty Mutual Insurance with assistance from local sales representative Ali Collins. Total class size is limited to 35 participants.
