Sam's Garage, the museum's educational program served over 3,000 excited 3rd to 8th grade students throughout the Capital District and with increased grant support, expects to educate 5,000 students in the coming year. Numerous hands-on activities integrate history, art, science and design concepts to illustrate "real world" application of classroom lessons.
Intermediate school students have also been captivated by the Dash Board Design Contest, sponsored by member and industrialist, Ed Haleman and Toyota;s Scion East Division for the past two years. It is offered to some 13,000 students in the region.
